The pepinero academy and school spend an afternoon with the senior men's and women's team
The Cantera and Escuela C.D. Leganés players enjoyed a very special Thursday this week. First team players from the men's squad, Iván Villar and Naim García, as well as from the women's side, Patri de la Rubia and Marta Mayoral, surprised the children's session to share their experience; the whole event having been organised by Fundación C.D. Leganés.

The C.D. Leganés School has continued its activity throughout the 2020-21 season adapting to the special conditions of the pandemic. The 620 children who are part of the School have continued to play tournaments, friendly matches and league games.

C.D. Leganés and Unai Bustinza will not continue together in the next season 2022/23. The 30-year-old Bilbao-born defender ends his time as a Leganés player after seven seasons at Butarque, in which he made 161 official appearances.

El C.D. Leganés va dando forma a su pretemporada, que arrancará el próximo lunes 4 de julio con la ronda de test físicos y reconocimientos médicos para los futbolistas de la plantilla. El equipo realizará un stage de preparación de una semana en la localidad murciana de San Pedro del Pinatar, donde jugará tres partidos amistosos.

El C.D. Leganés disputará un #DerbiHistórico para estrenarse en la pretemporada 2022/23. Los pepineros jugarán su primer amistoso de preparación el sábado 16 de julio a las 20:00 horas frente al Getafe C.F. en el Estadio Municipal Butarque, en la que será la primera toma de contacto frente a un rival tras diez días de entrenamientos.
