As if it was today… nine years ago Leganés won an important match against Coruxo at Butarque (2-1). The pepineros continued their fight to reach Segunda División’s promotion play-offs. Chupe and Arruabarrena were the ones that scored for the Pepineros. Rubén Falcón had an amazing performance.

It was the 32nd matchday and Leganés was sixth on the league table, just 4 points away from the play-offs zone. The visitors scored later to reduce the difference but Rubén Falcón, who had an amazing performance, managed to keep the result a 2-1 in favor of the pepineros.
