The pepineros had beaten Getafe on their last match and were to face Real Valladolid. Mauricio Pellegrino’s initial squad was: Cuéllar, Juanfran, Bustinza, Tarín, Siovas, Jonathan Silva, Óscar, Recio, Vesga, Santos and Carrillo. Sabin Merino, Rubén Pérez and José Araniz played on second half.

Jontathan Silva and Sergi Guardiola were the ones that had the best occasions on first half. Michael Santos had another occasion on second half but couldn’t beat Masip. Just a couple minutes before the end of the match, Juanfran crossed the ball and Carrillo scored with a strong header that allowed the team to win at Butarque. Three more points to practically secure a spot on first division.
