C.D. Leganés manager, Asier Garitano, appeared before a press conference after the match this Sunday against Real Valladolid, which finished 0-2 to the pucelanos. The boss lamented the lack of any accuracy in front of goal but was grateful for the fans support during the a difficult match.
"We didn't have a poor start, there were 25 minutes where we enjoyed a lot of options but it didn't take much for them to create the opener. The second half was far more balanced and less fluid, and against a strong team like Valladolid these things can happen. Two defeats in a row is a dangerous situation but we have to be prepared, there is another game in three days time and we have to look forward and keep some continuity: keeping on working and finding solution to these problems so we can try and improve".

For the pepinero coach, "Its a big challenge for us, we need to turn a difficult situation around when every game we face teams of a similar standard. Garitano also had words for the fans: "They are going to be right alongside us and it was their chants after the second goal that really stayed with me, because that's what will keep us competing. I accept full responsibility and with that, you need to learn to live with it all. I understand their disaffection, but I have no doubt as to their loyalty and support for the team, which is fundamental if we are to acheive more".
