C.D. Leganes and C.F. Beitar Jerusalem agreed on Friday the transfer of the Venezuelan footballer Josua Mejias. The 25-year-old defender leaves Leganes to join the Israeli club, with whom he played on loan during the 2021/22 season.
Mejías signed for Leganés in 2017, and has played on loan over the last years for F.C. Cartagena, on two occasions, Gimnàstic de Tarragona, Atlético de Madrid 'B' and Málaga C.F. The club wishes him the best of luck in this new stage.
