C.D. Leganés faced Atlético de Madrid "B" in a friendly match as a training on Wednesday morning, October 9. Guido Carrillo, Sabin Merino on three occasions and Fede Varela were the match goal scorers.
Pellegrino's team played a match against the Atlético de Madrid "B" at the Instalación Deportiva Butarque. A match that started at 10:30 in the morning, and ended with the victory for the cucumber squad.
By the 8th minute, Guido Carrillo headed a ball to the crossbar, ending with another chance after the rebounce, that would then go to the back of the net. Ten minutes later, a cross by Bustinza headed by Sabin Merino, inside the area, ended with the ball entering the goal to put the 2-0 on the scoreboard. Reaching the 26th minute, Sabin Merino repeated with a shot after a cross by Marc Navarro, again, from the right.
Already in the second part, Sabin Merino scored in the 75th minute his third goal, fourth of the game for Lega, after hitting a ball that was loose in the area after several rejections. The 5-0 came after a counterattack by Sabin Merino, who then assisted Fede Varela, who ended up scoring facing an empty goal.
