CD Leganés presented Jontahan Silva on Monday morning. The Argentinian, who arrives from Sporting Clube de Portugal for 2018/19 season, was accompanied by the General Manager, Martín Ortega, and the Sporting Director, Txema Indias.
Silva answered questions from the press before dressing with the cucumber shirt and the number five: "I am grateful to CD Leganés for the predisposition. I believe that there has been good feeling, and that made me feel good here. I have seen these installations. The mates are being nice and that makes me feel welcome."
The defender, who played in Italy and Portugal, spoke about La Liga: "The Spanish league is one of the best league in the world. I still have to work very hard with Mauricio Pellegrino to become a better player."
Also, Silva explained the choice of number five: "I hope to do better or equal than Mantovani."
