Juvenil 'A' start the second half of the season victorious over Rayo Vallecano 'A' (2-0)

C.D. Leganés's Juvenil 'A' made their return to league football after the break last week for the Copa del Rey Juvenil. Sergio Solís' squad overcame neighbouring Rayo Vallecano 'A' at the I.D. Butarque by 2-0.

Juvenil 'A' defeated Rayo Vallecano 'A' 2-0 in their 18th game in Group 5 of the División de Honor. Their second half of the season began on the right foot as they took all three points in their clash with their 4th place opponents. An own goal from Morcillo and Álvaro José's finish, both in the first stretch of the game, proved enough to determine the outcome.

For coach Sergio Solís, a 12th win of the season is an encouraging indicator of their hard work, especially on home ground where they remain undefeated this season. Now, Juvenil 'A' boast 40 points from their matches so far, a game in hand and a margin of only two points from second place. Their next league fixture will be their postponed encounter against C.D. Badajoz at the I.D. Butarque on Saturday 29th at 16:00 (CET).
