C.D Leganés announces that Luis Cembranos, second team manager for the 2019/20 season who also coached the first team for three matches will not be with the club for the next season.
Cembranos, 47 years old coached C.D. Leganés 'B' on Tercera División’s group 7, winning ten matches, tying eight and loosing eight. The manager lead the team to playoff positions during fourteen matchdays before the season suspension was declared.
He also was in charge of the first team after Mauricio Pellegrino’s retirement from the club and before Javier Aguirre’s arrival. Cembranos managed the pepineros’ matches against Real Mallorca and Eibar at Butarque, and Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu. The team won 1 game and loss the other two under his commands.
The club wants to thank Luis Cembrano for his professionalism during these months, when he gave the club a hand on difficult moments. The best of luck to him both personal and professionally.
