Match preview: C.D Leganés seeks to win again on their first away match

C.D Leganés will visit C.D Lugo this Sunday (12:00h) at Anxo Carro Stadium for the second matchday of LaLiga Smartbank. The pepineros seek to get the three points on their first away match.

C.D Leganés started the competition last weekend winning their first match of the season against Las Palmas (1-0). The white and blues started the competition with the right foot and now will be looking to repeat the result and the good sensations from the first match.

José Luis Martí will be able to count with two of the new faces of the team: the central defender Ignasi Miquel and the forward Michael Santos after their arrival last week. The team’s latest signing, Kevin Bua, will join the team the next week. The manager also confirmed José Arnaiz’s injury.

C.D Lugo for the first points of the season

C.D Lugo will play their first match of the season at home. This will be their ninth consecutive season in LaLiga SmartBank. The Gallegos managed to achieve the survival last season after getting four wins and two draws on the last sixth matchdays of the league when Juan Francisco García “Juanfran” arrived to the lucenses’ bench.

The red and whites did not manage to get any points on the first matchday after they lost against C.F Fuenlabrada (2-0). However, they hope to sum their first points at home this Sunday. The Gallegos will be able to count with their new signings: Gerard Valentín and Xavi Torres.

The game’s referee will be Mr. Daniel Ocón Arraíz.
