Return to Anduva to repeat the victory of the historic last visit

C.D. Leganés will return this Wednesday almost five years later to Anduva, the stadium where they won their, so far, only promotion to LaLiga Santander in 2016. The pepineros will play for the third time an official match at the home of C.D. Mirandés, where they have harvested a victory and a defeat.

The first time the rojillos and blanquiazules met in Miranda de Ebro was on November 23, 2014, in the season of Leganés' return to the Second Division ten years later. The pepineros lost by the minimum (1-0) thanks to a goal by César Caneda in stoppage time from a corner kick.
The second and last visit so far is an indelible memory: on June 4, 2016, Leganés achieved promotion to the First Division on the last matchday at Anduva thanks to Pablo Insua's goal in the 47th minute. Serantes; Bustinza, Mantovani, Insua, Albizua; Sastre, Timor; Miramón, Gabriel, Szymanowski; and Rubén Peña formed that starting eleven for history, with Alberto Martín, Asdrúbal and César Soriano coming in from the bench.
