C.D. Leganés midfielder Rubén Pardo has been chosen by LaLiga as the best player of the month of February in LaLiga SmartBank. The midfielder from La Rioja has beaten forwards Raúl de Tomás, from R.C.D. Espanyol, and Uros Djurdjevic, from Real Sporting.
Pardo played as a starter in the six matches that the Blue and Whites played during the month, being part of the team's good run, which won five of those matches. The '25' scored two beautiful goals against C.D. Lugo and Albacete Balompié (both from a direct free kick) and gave the assist to Javi Hernández for the winning goal against C.D. Tenerife.
