Unai Bustinza reaches 100 matches with C.D. Leganés

C.D. Leganés' captain, Unai Bustinza, reached on Saturday one hundred official matches with the cucumber shirt. The white and blue defender, who celebrates his fifth season in the cucumber squad, joined against Levante U.D. the centenary level with the Leganés shirt.

Bustinza arrived to Leganés in 2015, reaching the promotion to LaLiga Santander in his first season as a pepinero, playing 17 matches. Already in the highest category, in 2016/17 he played 22 clashes, increasing his presence each campaign: 26 matches in 2017/18, where he also scored his two goals with the white and blue shirt against Sevilla and Real Madrid; and 28 matches in 2018/19, with already seven matches in the current season.

On Monday morning, the player received a commemorative shirt with the number 100 and was congratulated by all his teammates and the coaching staff. Bustinza is the third player with the most matches in the club of the current squad, only Eraso and Rubén Pérez count with more official matches.
