Dear C.D Leganés’ season ticket holders and supporters. Today I want to address all of you to thank you personally for being with us on the amazing First Division adventure. You have proven to be a top group of supporters both inside and outside the pitch and your support to the team has always been unconditional. Both of those who are still with us and the ones that are now supporting us from heaven.
We are deeply sorry for not corresponding all your support with the survival after a season in which we have made mistakes and faced numerous and particular adversities. We assume our responsibility and will learn from this to continue growing in the future.
The city of Leganés has always been a working city, humble and capable of standing up against adversities, even when facing a cruel pandemic. Its example has worked as an inspiration on these difficult times and we wish that despite of the result you all feel proud of your team. This is not over. Now it is the time to recover and prepare a new season full of goals and hope. Leganés deserves to experience great joy again and there is no time to lose.
