Asier Garitano: "Today was not a good game and it makes us realize how difficult it is to win every match".

C.D. Leganés coach Asier Garitano appeared in a press conference after the matchday 27 game against F.C. Cartagena (1-0), highlighting the difficulty of winning every match, giving value to the winning streak that the team had achieved, recognizing that today was not a good match and appealing to reset to think about the next match.

"In the first fifteen minutes we controlled the game, but we lacked something more to be able to hurt. After a quarter of an hour, they felt more comfortable. We didn't dominate the game or the match. We didn't have many problems defensively, but as we didn't dominate the game or the match, it was difficult for us. They had the clearest chance in the first half. We wanted to improve in the second half, but we didn't manage it either. They were better, they scored one to zero, and then with that result they defended well and with order. We tried with a lot of crosses, we tried more out of heart than play to have situations to tie the game. It wasn't a good game", summarized Asier's assessment of the 90 minutes.
This defeat puts an end to the streak of five consecutive victories, something that the coach regretted and valued at the same time: "It's a shame to break the dynamic we had but it makes us see the difficulty of being able to win each game, it gives value to the positive dynamic we had, now we have to reset, start again, recover people, and think about the next game because there are still many games left", he said while highlighting the work of the rival: "We did not feel comfortable because the rival is a good team that does things well".
