C.D. Leganés close to earning first points of the season in the Benito Villamarín, after breaking the tie on the scoreboard with a goal by Braithwaite in the 49th minute. Loren (54') and Fekir (64') completed the comeback for the Sevillians.

The match began with a Leganés motivated and complicating the match for Real Betis, with a high pressure that prevented Rubi’s squad from approaching Cuéllar’s goal. However, Leganés failed to generate clear scoring chances in those first minutes.
