C.D Leganés has executed the purchase option to sign the 20-year-old Moroccan midfielder Aymane Mourid who will continue to be part of the club until 2024. He has been part of the club for the last two seasons.
Aymane was trained at Mohammed VI Academy and arrived to Leganés on the 2018 summer when he became part of Juvenil 'A' that played División de Honor tournament. One year later he was promoted to Tercera División team in which he played 24 matches and scored two goals.
He made his debut with the first team for Copa del Rey match against F.C Andorra
Born in Casablanca, the midfielder has made his debut with the first team in the current campaign, playing two Copa del Rey matches against Andorra F.C and C.D Ebro, being starter on the last one. He was also called for one of LaLiga’s matches against Atlético de Madrid at Wanda Metropolitano.
Aymane has been part of the Moroccan national youth teams and was called to compete with the Pre-Olympic squad. He will now be part of Leganés until the end of 2023/24 season.
