C.D. Leganés hope to preserve unbeaten home record against F.C. Cartagena

C.D. Leganés play F.C. Cartagena this Tuesday at 21:15 (CET), in what will be their second encounter in the Segunda División. The Pepineros beat the Albinegros on their most recent visit to the Butarque last season.

C.D. Leganés faced Cartagena (then called Cartagena F.C.) during the course of the 1991/92 season in Segunda División 'B', ending in a goalless draws (0-0). The Pepineros would not play them again until the 2008/09 season, an unforgettable fixture played throughout and after a downpour of snow to conclude 2-1 for the home side, with goals from Juli and Nacho Aznar.

In last season's game, the first played in LaLiga SmartBank, Leganés won 3-1 after Sabin Merino's brace and Rosales' goals in the first half sealed all three points for the Blanquiazules.
