C.D Leganés’ international players return after playing with their national teams

C.D Leganés’ players who left during the international fixtures to play for their national teams return to the pepineros’ training sessions. Shibasaki, Rosales and Omeruo had minutes with Japan, Venezuela, and Nigeria.

Gaku Shibasaki played two complete games for Japan’s national team at Utrecht, Netherlands. The blue samurais tied against Cameroon on Friday (0-0) and won against Ivory Coast (1-0) on Tuesday. The pepinero made the assist for the winning goal on added time.

Rosales started the World Cup qualifiers with Venezuela

Roberto Rosales also played both games with Venezuela for 2022 Qatar World Cup. The defender started playing both matches, played 75 minutes in the first one against Colombia (3-0), and other 77 minutes against Paraguay (0-1).

Kenneth Omeruo played ninety minutes with Nigeria against Tunisia (1-1) at Klagenfurt, Austria. The pepinero did not have minutes in the first match of the Super Eagles against Argelia (0-1).
