C.D. Leganés Senior Femenino look for a third consecutive league victory against C.D. Las Rozas

C.D. Leganés Senior Femenino play C.D. Las Rozas (Sunday, 12:00 CEST, Polideportivo Dehesa de Navalcarbón) on their fifth matchday of the league. The visitors come searching for a third consecutive league victory while the locals, who also had a strong start to the league, will aim to come away with no less than all three points for themselves.

The pepineras hope to preserve their winning ways after the first few weeks of the season. Following the resounding 5-0 win over C.D. Móstoles URJC last time out, the pepineras maintained their position at the top of the table and they will want to stay put as they approach the game in Navalcarbón. On their most recent visit to La Dehesa, the blanquiazules only just clinched a draw after Erika's goal in the final sequence salvaged a point.

C.D. Las Rozas approach the game from sixth place with 9 points, only one fewer than Leganés. Senior have enjoyed nothing but victories on the road so far and Las Rozas' only points dropped come from when they hosted Pozeulo de Alarcón 'B' by a narrow 2-1 scoreline on the third matchday of the league.

“It will be a complicated game against a tough opponent with a deep squad"

The pepinero coach, Jero Martos, remains wary of the fixture: "It will be a complicated game against a tough opponent with a deep squad". Martos admitted they would have to work hard to acheive all "three points", since their opponents "won't make anything easy for us". Speaking on the squad itself, Martos assured that the team would be steadfast, loyal to their "identity, and working right from kickoff to the final whistle to earn all three points".
