The captains will debut their armbands for the 2021/22 season in front of the fans at the first home game, on 23rd August (22:00 CEST) against Burgos C.F.
The match will also mark the return to the Butarque for many pepinero fans after months without being able to go to the ground. Around 5,000 people are expected, for the maximum capacity of 40% allowed in open stadiums. The new C.D. Leganés armband features an embroidered patch of the letter "C" on a white background, surrounded by gold stitching and decorated with three red stripes and three gold embroidered stars on each side. The new design also includes a red version with grey stripes and silver embroidery, depending on the colours of the kit.
Next Monday, C.D. Leganés will surprise fans just before kick-off and reveal the mystery of their captains' new armband.
