C.D. Leganés will collaborate in the Tanzania Project of Fundación LaLiga in support of sports and for the eradication of poverty.

The Pepinero club joins the initiative to bring soccer to the most disadvantaged areas of Tanzania with the NGO Born To Learn, which consists of bringing soccer to the country's children and playing a tournament in which the Spanish LaLiga teams will be represented.

LaLiga Foundation has launched the Tanzania Project together with the Spanish organization Born To Learn, whose mission is to develop programs that contribute to improving the living conditions of the communities in the country where the NGO operates so that all children have a dignified childhood and a purpose in life.

C.D. Leganés is one of eight Spanish clubs taking part in the project.

In the project, which consists of an inter-school tournament with a duration similar to LaLiga and with between 15 and 20 teams, C.D. Leganés has contributed by donating 20 kits of shirts, shorts and socks, 10 balls, 3 flags and 3 scarves for the Simbas Footprints team.

The Simbas Footprints will play against Born To Learn -a team representing Cadiz C.F.- this Saturday at 11:35 am in one of the most visited fields in the Kilimanjaro region.
Other LaLiga teams that are also part of the Tanzania Project are Celta Vigo, Villarreal, Elche, Atlético de Madrid, Betis and Huesca.
