Fans back at the Butarque after a year and a half away

After a wait of a year and a half, fans were finally able to return to the Butarque to watch their team play. More than 4,000 fans filled the stands to watch this season's home debut against Burgos C.F.

Since 29th February 2020, only 1,500 season ticket holders had been able to see Leganés play live football, spectating the play-off against Rayo Vallecano. But for the majority, this Monday was a day of reunion both with the home ground and the club. All the season ticket holders that applied for seats were accommodated in the stadium for the fixture against Burgos C.F., in compliance with the limit of 40% attendance capacity permitted by the health authorities.
