First visit to Cartagena in the silver category to keep the streak going

C.D. Leganés visits F.C. Cartagena this Friday (21:00) for the second time in its history. The pepineros have only faced the Albinegros once before, when both were in the Second Division 'B', although they also faced Cartagena F.C. in the nineties, in both cases with a defeat.

In September 1991, the Blue and Whites faced Cartagena F.C. in the second matchday of the 1991/92 season, when both were in the bronze category. At that time, Luis Ángel Duque's team could not obtain anything positive after losing 2-0. It was not until August 30, 2008 that Leganés visited F.C. Cartagena again, losing 3-1 on the first matchday of the 2008/09 season, despite Quini's goal.
This Friday will be the third visit to Cartagena for a Leganés team that did achieve positive results in the previous ones at home, the last of them this season at Butarque, when the pepineros won 3-1 with a brace from Sabin Merino and another goal from Rosales.
