"La Biblioteca del Lega", the new project of Fundación C.D. Leganés to bring reading to children in times of pandemic.

Students from several schools in the city of Leganés have had the opportunity to enjoy the reading of "Leganés es de Primera", a story of overcoming, commitment, perseverance and motivation through soccer, and a guided tour of the facilities of the Butarque Municipal Stadium.

The C.D. Leganés Foundation has modified the project "El Lega goes back to school", where the Lega players visited different schools in the municipality of Leganés telling their professional experience, to adapt it to the health restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Bustinza, Asier Garitano and Queco Piña acted as hosts.

Thus, children from several nearby schools were given the opportunity to read "Leganés es de Primera", a book written by Daniel Abanda and David Aguilera about the promotion to the First Division of C.D. Leganés in 2016, and after that to visit the stadium with Unai Bustinza, captain of the team and only player who remains in the squad since that promotion, Asier Garitano, then and now coach of the team, and Queco Piña, then goalkeeper of the team and currently goalkeeping coach of the first team.
The aim of this project is to meet with the youngest fans so that they can experience culture in a different and fun way, getting to know first-hand the authors and protagonists of a story that reflects the great values of a team that is a reference for them.
