Preview: C.D. Leganés Senior Femenino return to league football after winning the II Trofeo Villa de Leganés

A new league fixture awaits C.D. Leganés Senior Femenino, this time against C.D. Móstoles URJC (Saturday, 19:30 CEST, Anexo Jesús Polo). The pepineras prepare for the game after having won the II Trofeo Villa de Leganés and with the ambition of a second consecutive win to help them advance up the table.

After a fantastic display this Thursday at the Butarque, where the pepineras beat C.D. Getafe Femenino ‘B’ in a thunderous 4-1 result, focus returns to league football. The Senior Femenino side prepare for the C.D. Móstoles URJC fixture in pole position with seven points in three games so far: another win would make it their second consecutive league win, but their third in recent times if their cup win over C.D. Getafe Femenino ‘B’ is included.

Defending their lead against a Móstoles who have four points in three games

The Senior Femenino squad will want to preserve their good form and secure another win that would keep them leading the pack. Not only do they play C.D. Móstoles URJC next, who have four points out of a possible nine in their league campaign but have gone from good to bad recently as they lost last time out to A.D. Colmenar Viejo, one of the strongest teams in the division last season.

Here are the upcoming league fixtures for the other women's teamss:

  • C.D. Fútbol Femenino Olympia Las Rozas A - Juvenil (Saturday, 19:50, Recinto Ferial, J. 4)
  • Cadete – C.D. Nuevo Boadilla (Saturday, 17:30, Anexo Jesús Polo, J.2)
  • Infantil ‘A’ – A.D. Sporting Hortaleza (Saturday, 09:00, La Cantera, J.2)
