Rubén Pérez reaches the one hundred matches mark with C.D. Leganés

C.D. Leganés’ captain Rubén Pérez reached, last Saturday in Huesca, one hundred official matches with the cucumber shirt. The Andalusian midfielder reaches the one hundred matches mark in what has been his third season with the cucumber club.

The Sevillian midfielder reaches a hundred official games, 92 in LaLiga and 8 in the Copa del Rey, being the second player in the squad with more matches, just behind Javier Eraso. Ruben holds the record as the cucumber player with more games played in First Division, ahead of Siovas and El Zhar.

The midfielder received a commemorative jersey after the match played at El Alcoraz and was pleased to reach the centenary of matches with Leganes: "It's a pleasure to be able to reach 100 games with Lega. There’s nothing better than doing it once the objective has been achieved. I would have liked to get a victory in the last LaLiga match, my centenary, but it could not be."
