C.D. Leganés and Raja Club Athletic tie (0-0) in the third of the cucumber pre-season’s match, first match of the stage in Tangier.
Leganés began the match with very ordered defense and with an Arnaiz very active offensively, who counted with two chances in the first minutes that worried Raja’s defense but that in the end managed to prevent them from ending up inside the goal defended by Bouamira. A peaceful first half for Pichu Cuéllar who only had to intervene a few times to block crosses by the Moroccan squad.
Pellegrino made some modifications for the second half in order to give minutes to all players. It was a disputed second half, with few chances for both teams. The player who enjoyed of the best opportunities on this period for the white and blue team was Sabin Merino, who had two occasions towards the end of the match that went out by very little, one header and another with the right leg after a cross by Oscar Rodriguez.
The night in Tangier ended with a disputed match and a goalless draw. The next game of the cucumber pre-season will be on Saturday July 27th against Ittihad Tanger at 8:30 p.m. (9:30 p.m. in Spain) at the IBN Batouta stadium in Tangier.
