C.D. Leganés played the fifth preseason game against AD Alcorcón, the last of this preseason at the Instalación Deportiva Butarque, achieving a victory by three goals to zero.
Lega dominated in general this fifth pre-season friendly, last to be played at the Instalación Deportiva Butarque. A game where Roberto Rosales started for the first time as a starter after joining Wednesday of last week. Without conceding chances to Alcorcón, beyond a shot by Arribas, that Cuellar capped at the beginning of the game and a penalty that missed Sadanza towards the 28th minute, Leganés had a quiet first half in which the team dominated on chances and finally on the scoreboard.
The first goal of the match came around the 17th minute after a run by Juan Muñoz in the area of his previous team and then assist the Venezuelan, Roberto Rosales, to debut as a scorer in the cucumber club. Minutes later, after a foul on Arribas within the white and blue area, the referee would call a penalty in favor of the yellow ones, which moments later Sandaza would be missed sending the ball over Cuellar’s goal.
The constant dominance of Lega were signs that the second goal was about to fall at any moment. In the 39th minute, Óscar sent the ball to the back of the net after a perfect counterattack orchestrated by Facundo García that enabled Aviles so that he only had to assist the one from Talavera de la Reina, putting an end to a first half with a two-goal advantage for Lega.
For the second half, Mauricio Pellegrino made modifications to give minutes of competition to all his players. Juan Soriano; Marc Navarro, Bustinza, Jaouad, Alex Martín, Silva; Rubén Pérez, Eraso, José Arnaiz; Aitor Ruibal and Sabin Merino made up the team for the second half.
It does not take Leganés any time to score the third and start the second part the perfect way. In minute 49, José Arnáiz would score after a Sabin Merino’s cross from the right wing to put the final score on the scoreboard. The game would end very quiet with few more chances.
Leganés will return to training tomorrow Thursday to continue preparing the last preseason game away from home against Amiens S.C.
