C.D Leganés is collaborating with Leganés’ City Hall Sports Council and the other clubs of the city with the campaign “La violencia no juega”, an action that intends to make aware all the children and the entire population about the importance of eradicating any type of sexist attitude.
The campaign is developed on November 25th, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. A purple hand with the words respect, equality, tolerance, diversity, and freedom are next to the motto “Violence does not play! We raise our voices against inequality”.
The objective is to raise awareness about the importance of acting in any case of violence against women and remind the importance of moving towards real equality among men and women. “Violence does not play at Leganés. With this campaign we make visible the work that our clubs carry out every day within their entities”, remarked the Sports Councilor Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez.
Sports in Leganés are an example of values, tolerance, and respect. Equality is promoted through commitment and hard work.
