Chidozie Awaziem: "I'm very happy to be here, I come to give my best"

C.D. Leganés presented Tuesday morning, in the I.D. Butarque's press room, the last incorporation to the club. The Nigerian international Chidozie Collins Awaziem, a defender that arrives on loan from FC Porto for one season.

"I want to thank the club for the confidence had on me. I am very happy to be here. I will do my best to have a good season and help the club," Chidozie said.

"The teammates welcomed me very well. They are very good players. There is the language problem but I will try to adapt as soon as possible," mentioned the Nigerian about his first few days with the team, where he reunited with Kenneth Omeruo, with whom he plays in the Nigerian national team. "I spoke to Omeruo, he is my teammate in the national team. He mentioned me things about the club, explained me the system, told me about the players, how Leganés is... In addition, Casillas, teammate in FC Porto, told me he was happy for my arrival to Leganés," he said.
