Information about the Fundación C.D Leganés’ donations since the start of the health crisis

The Fundación C.D Leganés along with the City Hall opened a bank account to collect resources to help Severo Ochoa Hospital. With an initial amount of 200.000 euros and the citizen’s donations, the bank account has reached a total of 223.524 euros.

From the start of the crisis the pandemic has hit hard on the city of Leganés. The club’s foundation has been active to support the city’s hospital from the beginning to contain the crisis and help the people affected with different shipments of materials required by the health institution. The foundation has been active to cover the hospital’s needs and help to give the best means for the people of Leganés to recover.

The foundation has donated an ambulance and different types of materials according to the hospital’s requirements during the pandemic.

From this Thursday on the city of Leganés will have an ambulance that will serve them all. C.D Leganés’ president, Victoria Pavón highlighted the foundation’s job: “It is an honor for us that today the Civil Protection will have an ambulance to cover all the necessities that the citizenship may have. This is the result of the good work of the foundation and the contributions of the club, citizens and fans”.

Santiago Llorente, the City of Leganés’ Mayor also highlighted the donation made to the city: “I want to thank to all the members of the Civil Protection for the job they do and particularly for the last two months when they have been ready to cover the needs of the people from Leganés on these difficult days for our city. This ambulance donated by Fundación C.D Leganés will help us to attend our citizens’ requirements with efficiency”.

Fundación C.D Leganés continues to be in touch with Sevro Ochoa Hospital, getting to know what they need and helping to cover them with the funds collected.
