C.D. Leganés coach, Mauricio Pellegrino, spoke to the media during a press conference in the Instalación Deportiva Butarque as preview to the Athletic Club for the 34th matchday for LaLiga Santander.
“I try to think in what we have to do. What happens in another match does not help us to win. We focus mainly on us and hopefully we can make it happen, we want to change last match’s feeling. We must be patient. If not this matchday, then it will be the next one, but the important thing is us,” mentioned Pellegrino in reference to the possibilities of definitively being saved from relegation if Valladolid losses.
“By only saying that we can we don’t achieve it, we must do it. Is like looking at the mountain, but you have to climb it. Every time you go farther up, the harder it gets. We have to know what to do in this game, so we know where we can aspire to get. Hopefully in the last matchday we can say that we have that possibility,” said Pellegrino in regard to Leganés position on the table.
“Athletic comes in very good shape. Obviously, we need to make a great game in order to have any chances, hopefully we can keep it up in Butarque,” hoped.
