CD Leganés presented the collaboration agreement for recycling with Ecoemebes and the Spanish Association of the Prader-Willi Syndrome

CD Leganés presented the collaboration agreement for recycling with Ecoemebes, the Spanish Association of the Prader-Willi Syndrome (AESPW),  Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER), and the City Council of Leganés, and were all represented by the President Victoria Pavón and the CD Leganés player Javier Eraso, Begoña de Benito (Ecoembes President of External Relations),  Mª Ángeles Zarza (President of AESPW) and the Leganés Mayor, Santiago Llorente.

The campaign aims to promote recycling with the collection of containers and bottles and will take place on September 26 in the match against FC Barcelona at Butarque an the slogan will be: 'Somos especiales, RECICLAMOS (We are special, WE RECYCLE)'. All proceeds will benefit the Spanish Association of the Prader-Willi Syndrome.

68 yellow containers, dustbins and paper baskets will be made available by Ecoembes. "We are happy to be with the City Council of Leganés and CD Leganés, because thanks to their support we will be able to reach all the cucumbers fans", said Begoña de Benito.

Santiago Llorente wanted to thank Ecoembes this initiative: "Leganés will be a better, cleaner and sustainable city, but also a sensitive and supportive."

The president of AESPW thanked everyone for their help: "We are immensely grateful for this gesture and for this reason we join the campaign."

On the other hand, Victoria Pavón said: "CD Leganés is always close to its fans and to the environment in which it lives. This is one more example of that support. And Javier Eraso added: "The media power of football will help recycling."

In addition, Eraso spoke of the match against Eibar: "You have to achieve results. This is Leganés and we have to give everything. The match against Eibar is like a final."

The cucumbers  fans have begun to help this cause and they are participating in social media with the hashtag #Todossomosrecycladoric. In this way, they are competing for prizes before the game against FC Barcelona.
