CD Leganés didn't win at La Ceramica. The locals moved ahead with the goals of Víctor Ruiz and Bacca, and Darko cut short at a few good final minutes
Leganés fought in the first-half and were present in all areas of the pitch. In 40 minute Beauvue was close with a header from the centre of the box missed to the right. And the next action, Villarreal scored. Victor Ruiz shoted from very close range to the bottom right corner.
In the second half, the yellow submarine dominated the opening minutes. Bacca scored in the 55 minute but Darko Brasanac tried the tie with a goal in last minutes.
The end was painful but the cucumber team tried until the final whistle.
