C.D. Leganés Genuine players were the focus of several special interviews this January, carried out by third-grade students at local Primaria del CEIP Gonzalo de Berceo. The LaLiga Genuine Santander players got the chance to show their values and spirit to hopefully inspire the students beyond their doubts.
The school's values class, made up of boys and girls aged nine and ten, sent questions to the players of the Genuine team, sponsored by Grupo AMÁS and the C.D. Leganés Foundation. The aim of the project was to go beyond the purely sporting aspects of their lives to instead focus on their personal selves, their relationship with the club and how they overcome day-to-day difficulties.
This human side of the Genuine team was shared through photos with the admiring students, helping to show that with perseverance and hard work, all barriers can be overcome.
