C.D. Leganés will build a new sports complex in the city with tennis and paddel courts, archery and more for all the members of the community

The Leganés city council approved today a project with the club for the construction a sports complex for the enjoyment of the community.

C.D. Leganés shows once again their commitment with the city and will invest 4.200.000 euros in the construction of a new sports complex. The works will start next september with the beginning of the new season. Once finished, CD. Leganés will give this facilities to the city council.

This agreement was presented yesterday in a press conference by Leganés' mayor, Santiago Llorente and the club's president Victoria Pavón.

The mayor thanked C.D. Leganés for his constant support to the city that will help the citizens to enjoy of a new sports complex in the upcoming months. "The new complex will be given to the city to be managed by the city council and will be used by thousands of cititzens. This agreement is thanks to the sensibility of the club's president and C.D. Leganés with their city", said Santiago Llorente. On the other hand, Victoria Pavón confimed the support of the club to the city and its neighbors. "To us it's good to have a good relationship with the city, the council and to reach agreements like this one".

Tennis, paddel, archery and two multiuse sport tracks

The new sports complex at Leganés Norte will have dressing rooms, 8 tennis courts, 4 paddel courts, one big archery installation and 2 multi use sports tracks, one of them covered.

C.D. Leganés continuously promotes sports practice in our city. Starting september these new installations will be used by the archery and tennis clubs of Leganés. It'll be a new sports complex open to the community.
