Leganes gets involved in the campaign "Rare diseases, unique people".

The club, the fan clubs and the pepineros fans contribute their contribution to FEDER.

C.D. Leganés is carrying out during this season 2023/24 the campaign "Rare diseases, unique people" in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER), to promote the visibility of the needs of people affected by these pathologies.

As a highlight of this campaign, the club wanted to take part in the World Day for Rare Diseases, which was celebrated on February 29th, with various actions aimed at raising funds for research and the search for possible treatments. The match played on March 3 against S.D. Eibar became a great event to raise awareness in Butarque.

In that week alone, and as a result of the campaign promoted by the club, the club sold a total of 72 T-shirts of the third kit, dedicated to Rare Diseases. Throughout the season, the club donates part of the profits from the sale of these shirts to FEDER, something that remains in force until the end of the season. All those interested in purchasing a T-shirt can do so at this link.

FEDER will receive donations from the charity auction of signed shirts and from the sale of solidarity scarves of the Peñas Federation.

On the other hand, the club held, together with the specialized portal MatchWornShirt, a charity auction of the shirts worn by the Pepineros players in the match against Eibar, signed by the players themselves. After the auction was closed, a total of €2,603 was raised for FEDER, being Miguel de la Fuente's shirt, with €165, the one that obtained the highest bid.

In addition, the Federación de Peñas of the club participated in the auction, obtaining the shirt of captain Sergio González, which will be framed and displayed in the Peñista Space located at the Estadio Municipal Butarque. Additionally, the Peñas Federation will donate to FEDER another €3,600 from the sale of charity scarves with the slogan "Rare diseases, unique people".
