A New Milestone in Women’s Football: CD Leganés Concludes Its First International Draft

The 2025 Women’s Draft Successfully Concludes — Your Path to the International Academy Starts Now!

C.D. Leganés has successfully completed the first edition of its International Women’s Draft, a pioneering initiative aimed at identifying female talent between the ages of 18 and 23 with international projection.

Over four weeks, international players took part in training sessions led by the club’s technical staff at the official facilities of the Jesús Polo Annex Stadium. In addition, they experienced an immersive program that combined football, personal development, and a deep connection with the club’s sporting culture.

Participants also had access to full-board accommodation at the official residence of the International Academy, offering an ideal environment for focus, group living, and overall growth.

This first edition marked a significant step in C.D. Leganés’ commitment to international women’s football, creating a real pathway for players seeking to enter European football through a professional and welcoming structure.
