C.D. Leganés 'B' to close out a successful 2021 season in last Butarque game of the year

C.D. Leganés ‘B’ play their last home game of 2021 this Sunday, hosting Real Avilés C.F. at the Butarque in what is their 15th league matchday of the season in Group 1 of Segunda División RFEF.

The Pepinero reserve side have navigated themselves to a play-off spot in the Primera RFEF table with their 22 puntos, now at six games unbeaten. Carlos Martínez's men take their streak back to the Butarque next, where they played on the 14th November against Gimnástica Segoviana to win 1-0 as well as against Unión Adarve, drawing (1-1). Upcoming opponents Real Avilés are currently in 9th, only two points below the Blanquiazules.

The fixture is scheduled for 18:15 (CET) on Sunday at the Butarque following the first team's LaLiga SmartBank fixture earlier that day at 14:00. As such, Carlos Martínez will be able to make use of the academy call ups who do not feature in against Ponferradina in his own match. As ever, season ticket holders are granted free access to the stands by producing a physical copy of their season ticket, while general admission can be purchased on the matchday from €15.
