C.D. Leganés beats Amiens S.C. in the visit to France (0-1)

C.D. Leganés won the sixth preseason match against Amiens S.C. at La Licorne de Amiens Stadium thanks to a goal by Roberto Rosales in the second half.

The match began with equality in the game, with great intensity and alternate dominance in the possession of the ball. Both teams reached the opponent's area but without clear danger. Eraso had the best chance for the cucumber squad, in the 10th minute, with a shot from outside the area blocked by a defender's foot, and Sabin Merino in the 40th minute, with a great header after a corner kick by Oscar, saved by the goalkeeper with a great intervention.

During the second half, Leganés controlled the game and had more possession of the ball, creating spaces and playing quickly between lines. All this allowed to generate more chances, specially with shots from the outside of the area that ended up being blocked by the goalkeeper, as were the chances by Rubén Pérez in the 55th minute, with a volley shot, or by Marc Navarro in the 62nd with a strong and high shot.

It was not until the 82nd minute when, after a counterattack, Roberto Rosales took the ball at the peak of the area, observed and shot, surprising the goalkeeper, and sending the spheric to the end of the net. Amazing goal and 0-1 on the scoreboard just a few minutes before the end, when Amiens squeezed but could not tie the result.

Pellegrino's team achieves the fourth victory this preseason, with only one match remaining, on Saturday in Butarque against Albacete for the "XL Trofeo Villa de Leganés" before the start of LaLiga on August 17th facing Osasuna in Butarque.
