C.D. Leganés is in Mexico through its International Department, which is currently working on methodology, talent recruitment and brand positioning by seeking to open academies and collaborations with clubs and institutions.
The club has visited Mexico City, Pachuca, Toluca, Veracruz, Celaya, Chiapas and Quintana Roo through four coaches, imparting the club's methodology and working with academies and universities. In addition, in each city we have carried out scouting and recruitment tests for players between the ages of fifteen and twenty-three, from which the best players will be able to experience the experience of trying out for the C.D. Leganés teams. Similarly, the international area headed by Josele González has participated in meetings with professional clubs and coaches who want to implement their programs in future C.D. Leganés academies in the country, as well as holding camps or other activities in which the Leganés brand is present.
