C.D. Leganés presents its first kit for the 2022/23 season. Under the slogan 'the legacy endures', the shirt refers to C.D. Once Leones, the precursor club of the current Leganés almost a century ago, and without whose history C.D. Leganés as it is known today would not be understood.
The promotional spot features Juan Antonio Alonso Resalt, official chronicler of the Villa de Leganés, who tells the story of eleven brave residents of our city who never stopped fighting for their dream, combining it with their respective jobs. Every weekend they defended the honour of their city, managing to stand out thanks to their determination and winning spirit.
Thus Eleven Lions, the first football club in Leganés, was born. A legacy that lives on every time Butarque roars, and that is also impregnated in our skin.
