C.D. Leganés will play a #DerbiHistórico to kick off the 2022/23 preseason. The 'pepineros' will play their first friendly game on Saturday 16 July at 20:00 against Getafe C.F. at the Estadio Municipal Butarque, in what will be the first contact with an opponent after ten days of training.
In this way, Imanol Idiakez's side will have their first test against Getafe in a new edition of the #DerbiHistórico, which has been played in all categories of Spanish football over the last years. The match will be free for season ticket holders who have already renewed their card or have registered for the 2022/23 season, while information about tickets for the general public will be announced shortly.
Leganés will begin their pre-season next Monday with physical tests and medical examinations for the players, which will continue on Tuesday 5th. On Wednesday 6th the squad will begin training on the pitch of the Butarque Sports Facility, and the first friendly match will take place on Saturday 16th against Getafe.
