Beautiful day for playing football, the perfect background for a great evening at Butarque for the corresponding forty gameweek of LaLiga SmartBank, between Leganés and Eibar. However, the match wasn’t what the team of Mehdi Nafti wanted, and with an own goal, one goal from Stoichkov, and one from Rahmani the visitors kept fighting for the promotion. Arnaiz and Gaku scored for the local team.
With a own goal and one from Stoichkov, Eibar went upfront but Arnaiz scored the pepinero goal.
The first time was a tense game, Eibar pressing and Lega trying to make different plays to get upfront on the score. Nevertheless, the team coached by Mehdi Nafti started to control the ball, and therefore, on the minute 45 José Arnaiz scored a great goal after a good teamwork play. He received the ball inside the box after Rober Ibáñez assisted him to send the ball inside the net.
Gaku equalized the match but Rahmani scored the third goal.
Just starting the second half, five minutes after the referee authorized the start of the match, Shibasaki Gaku scored the equalizer for Lega, this came after a long distance shot that helped the team to equalize the match by 2-2. Four minutes after the goal, Javi Hernández got an opportunity to put the team upfront, with a volley that was controlled by Cantero.
