The match between Villaverde San Andrés and Leganés B ended up with a 1-1 tie. It was the Tercera División Grupo 7’s 28th matchday.
Luis Cembranos’ team managed to get a sweet and sour point after a visit to a hard pitch as Boetticher is. Even though the pepineros were close to score on first half, the locals started winning with a goal scored by Aragón on 23’. On second half, the team continued its fight to tie up the match. Félix with a header on 75’ managed to score and get the 1-1 for the pepineros. Ten minutes before, a penalty kick shoot by Rivero was stopped by the rivals’ goalkeeper. Leganés B strived until the end when Galo Rodríguez goal was called off by the referee because of a fault committed by the pepinero.
Leganés is currently sicth with 42 points, only three points away from play-offs positions and five points away from the second of the table. Next match against R.S.D Alcalá will be played at I.D Butarque (Sunday, 16:00h).
