As if it was today… seven years ago Leganés tied against Fuenlabrada (1-1) and kept strong on their fight to reach second division’s promotion play-offs. Pablo Alfaro’s team got a point as visitors against a direct rival and kept on second position with eight match-days remaining.

Leganés’ initial squad that day at Fernando Torres Stadium was: Rubén Falcón, Carmona, Corona, Víctor Gómez, Dani Gómez, Aicart, Valleros, Batres, Óscar Vega, Carlos Martínez and Dioni. Álex Bernal, Fer Ruiz and Pírez would also play on second half. Goals would be scored on second half and through penalty kicks: Dioni scored for the pepineros and Rubén Ramos at the end of the game scored for Fuenlabrada. More than 600 white and blue fans were on the stands that day.
