C.D. Leganés visits Severo Ochoa Hospital to promote the Blood Donation Marathon

It will take place on Tuesday 12 December from 9:00 to 20:30.

C.D. Leganés invites all its fans to attend the Blood Donation Marathon "Vidas, gota a gota" organised by the Severo Ochoa Hospital in our city on Tuesday 12th December. The event will take place from 9:00 to 20:30.

Once again this year, the club is collaborating with this initiative organised by the Transfusion Centre of the Community of Madrid and the Severo Ochoa University Hospital. The men's first team squad, coaching staff, management and club staff went to the hospital in our city, as well as the mayor of the city, Miguel Ángel Recuenco, and representatives of the club's Peñas Federation.

"We give a lot of importance to people, it is a pride to represent the club in this type of action".

The club's vice-president, Eduardo Cosín, assured that "making the city one of our priorities since we arrived. The club had already done a great job long before our arrival, and we wanted to continue with this tradition, because a small gesture can save lives".

For his part, coach Borja Jimenez stated that "it is very important for clubs to have these types of initiatives and social events. We are happy to be able to participate hand in hand with the club in something that should be more common for everyone".

Finally, captain Sergio González recalled that "the club has been coming here for many years. We know that the club always wants to be close to its people, we give a lot of importance to people, and as captain it is an honour to represent them in this type of action".
