A stoppage time goal avoids a victory for Lega (1-1)

CD Leganés drew against Sevilla FC with goals from Mikel Vesga and Ben Yedder for matchday 17 in LaLiga.

The cucumbers dominated the first half and thanks to that Mikel Vesga put Lega ahead on the 4 minute. The midfielder hit the ball with his head after a cross from Nyom.

Cuéllar had a good save over from Sergi Gómez but the Mauricio Pellegrino's men would have the best chances of the first half through Carrillo and En-Nesiry.

On the second half, the visitors played with a ten players for the red card of Franco Vázquez while the teams were in the tunnel. Leganés kept looking for the second goal at Butarque where the fog appeared.

However, both teams had clear opportunities. Amadou and En-Nesyri delivered the ball against the crossbar before Ben Yedder equalized in stoppage time.

Thus, CD Leganés said goodbye to the year 2018 with 19 points and will play against RCD Espanyol in the first game of the year on Friday, January 4.
