C.D. Leganés 'B' beat C.D.A. Navalcarnero to climb to the play-off spots (0-2)

The Pepinero second team has put an end to C.D.A. Navalcarnero's invincible home run to run up a sixth league victory (0-2) to lift them into the coveted play-off positions. Álex, in the first half, and then Mario Rivas scored to seal to Blanquiazul win.

The first few minutes of the encounter were a battle for possession, with the reserve side coming out on top at the Municipal Mariano González against an undefeated home-side of C.D.A. Navalcarnero.

Carlos Martínez's men made good on their ball control to mark the first goal of the night in the 19', with Álex directly converting a long range free kick for the captain's sixth of the season.

The Pepinero squad did not let up with the advantage while the locals continued to challenge Sergio Valero, yet without much success or promiximity.

Then in the second half, Carlos Martínez's men pushed on to double the distance between themselves and the hosts. Mario Rivas ran onto a ball in behind the defense in the 54' to offer up an excellent headed finish for his sixth of the campaign and his team's second of the night. Navalcarnero's counter-attacking attempts even exposed them to a brace from Mario Rivas, but his finish was smothered down by the keeper when he was through one-on-one.

C.D. Leganés 'B' withstood the home threat to maintain a cleansheet alongside their victory to move into 5th with 22 points, only four points from second place. The second team adds another victory to their unbeaten streak of six consecutive games, at four wins and two ties.
